This basket bag has an oval shape and does not contain a lid. Instead, we have designed two handles that are imperfectly round. These handles are created by taking the fibre used and wrapping a strong string around them. The handles are then attached to the basket base using lather offcuts.
These offcuts have been sourced from a leather shoemaker- allowing us to reduce the waste of the leather that was not used.
Base Material:Woven Reed with plastic or natural string to hold together.
Strap Material: Reed coiled with string.
